Matej Jovanović
Matej was born on November 3, 1998 in Pančevo. He enrolled in elementary music school at the age of 8. During his first year of high school, he collaborate with professor Janko Đoković, from second year of high school he continue his education in Music school “Mokranjac” in Belgrade in the class of professor Janko Đoković. As a soloist he has participated in numerous competitions with state and international character:
- 9thConcorso International Young musicians Prize “Antonio Salieri” – Second prize 93/100 – named the best in his category, First prize was not awarded.
- Finalist in the Cat Young(Jeune) – Lagny sur Marne
- Cles d’or first accesite
- State competition 2017 – second prize 92
- Piano competiton “Slavenski” – first prize
In 2016 he was admitted to the music camp “Interlochen” Michigan, America for 6 weeks. He had numerous performances and participated in many concerts festival “Classic Fest” in Pančevo performance at the concert of Serbian composers in SKC (Student Cultural Centre). In 2016, he was the only student of the high school Mokranjac, elected to perform at music concerts in schools “Josip Slavenski” and “Kosta Manojlović” Zemun (Organized by music and ballet community schools of Serbia). Concerts in halls of Conservatoire CRR93 in Paris, Cultural Center Jean-Houdremont Paris, and many others… He had a master classes with renowned professors Nevena Popović and Yevgeny Starodubcev. Matej curently studies in Paris on the national conservatoire CRR93 in class of pianist Jasmina Kulaglich. He had an interviews on the most popular televisions in Balkan region – N1, Pink TV, Happy TV. Matej will have European concert tour in September 2019. – PianoWorldWide European tour. As Creator of PianoWorldWide Matej have collaborated with more than 60 artists and music companies worldwide.
