Milan Milojičić has established himself as a violist with a distinctive voice marked by warmth, clarity and a rich sound. Since 2011, he has been a member of the internationally acclaimed Minetti Quartet, performing in leading concert halls such as the Wiener Musikverein, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall, Lincoln Center New York and the Berliner Philharmonie, and at festivals including the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Mozartwoche Salzburg, the Aldeburgh Festival and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Alongside his quartet work, he appears regularly as a guest principal and solo violist with ensembles including the Munich Chamber Orchestra, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and Amsterdam Sinfonietta. His chamber music partners include artists such as Jörg Widmann, Fazıl Say, Andreas Ottensamer, Kit Armstrong, Sharon Kam, Lars Anders Tomter and Nils Mönkemeyer, and he has worked closely with contemporary composers. He studied with Thomas Riebl and Veronika Hagen at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and with Gérard Caussé at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid. He also drew significant musical inspiration from Nobuko Imai, Ferenc Rados, Alfred Brendel and members of the Hagen Quartet. Since 2023, he has been teaching viola and chamber music at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and regularly gives masterclasses throughout Europe and the United States. Milan plays on a fine Italian viola by Giovanni Pistucci, made in Naples in 1890.
