Entry conditions
The Masterclasses are aimed at music students, professional musicians and highly talented young people who would like to improve their technical, musical and artistic skills on their own instruments, and at students who would like to develop their Chamber Music expertise and skills.
The Masterclasses offer 4 individual instrumental lessons. The number of participants per instrument is limited to 10. Active participants will work on the program they select themselves. Participants should indicate the repertoire they choose on the Application Form.
The Masterclasses offer also the possibility to do 2 Chamber Music classes with the Ljubljana Piano Trio.
The participant who chooses the 6 lessons option (4 individual instrumental lessons + 2 Chamber music lessons) will have the possibility to play in Duos (Violin and Piano, Cello and Piano) Trios (Piano Trios, two Violins and Piano), String Quartets, Piano Quintets. The participants can indicate any Ensemble and repertoire preferences in the Application Form but La Casa de Kamna association, along with the faculty (Ljubljana Piano Trio), will have the final decision on the arrangement of the Chamber Music ensembles and their repertoire. All the Masterclasses will be given in the Music school (Glasbena šola) Linhartov Trg 1, Radovljica, Slovenia. The first meeting will take place on Sunday 2 July at 10am in the aforementioned venue. The organizers will communicate the timetable and all remaining information at the first meeting.

Attendance fee for Instrumental Masterclasses: 320 € (200 € + 120 € enrollment fee for 4 lessons of 50′)
Attendance fee for Chamber Music Masterclasses: 100 € for 2 lessons of 50′

Registration, together with enrollment fee must be completed by 11 June 2017. The confirmation of payment of enrollment fee send to: casakamna@gmail.com . The rest of the attendance fee is to be paid at the beginning of the seminar.
The enrollment fee includes a Piano accompanist for the violinists and cellists, free practice rooms, a final concert at the end of the Masterclasses and free admission to the Ljubljana Piano Trio concert that will be held on Monday 3 July 2017 at 8pm in the Baročna dvorana of the Radovljiška graščina in Radovljica.

Masterclasses are also open to passive participants. Passive participation in seminars costs 20 € a day. There is the possibility of additional individual lessons by arrangement with the teacher. The enrollment fee will be only refunded in presence of a medical certificate before the beginning of the Masterclasses.

The pianist Siavush Gadjiev completed his musical education at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow as a student of famous teachers such as Bella Davidovich and Boris Zemliansky. At the Moscow Conservatory he also obtained the Master of Music degree (“Course of Interpretation”) and was invited to teach in the prestigious Central Special Music School of the Moscow Conservatory. Gadjiev develops and educational activity running master classes, seminars and thematic lectures-concerts. He has held recitals in many cites of the ex-Soviet Union, Europe and USA. He has also performed with major orchestras and in chamber music with distinguished European musicians. He is a member of the “Ljubljana piano Trio” and the Artistic Director of the “Giuliano Pecar” International Piano Competition.
Vasilij Meljnikov studied at the Academy of Music in Minsk, Belarus, with one of the most renowned Russian professors, violinist Olga Parkhomenko, who herself was a student and postgraduate of the famous David Oistrakh. After finishing his post graduate studies with prof. Parkhomenko, Vasilij Melnikov perfected his violin performance at Peter Chaikovski Conservatory in Moscow. He began his pedagogical work as a professor at the Special Secondary School for Exceptional Music Talents in Minsk. As member of the Belarus National Chamber Orchestra he performed in Soviet Union Republics as well as in other European countries. Since 1990 he lives in Slovenia and teaches at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. In 1997 he won the first prize at the Vienna Modern Masters International Competition in Vienna, Austria. For six years he has held the position of the Concert Master of RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. Since 2000 he is a permanent violin professor at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.
Igor Mitrovič is a solo cellist with the Symphonic Orchestra of RTV Slovenia. He studied in Ljubljana and Basel with Miloš Mlejnik, Antonio Meneses and Chamber Music by Walter Levin (LaSalle Quartet). He was the first to perform and record several works by Slovenian and foreign composers. As a soloist and member of various chamber ensembles he performs at home as well as abroad and is also teaching at the Music Conservatorium in Klagenfurt.
